Sublimation printing is a technology in which the ink turns into a gas and penetrates the material itself instead of staying on its surface. The result is a full-colour image of photographic quality that does not peel, crack or feel raised to the touch. At KiM Print we use sublimation for sports kits, promotional mugs, beach towels, socks, bags, cushions and many other personalised products.
How sublimation works
The design is first printed with special sublimation inks on transfer paper. The paper is then placed on the item and pressed at a high temperature. Under the heat the ink turns into a gas and bonds permanently with the polyester fibres or the special coating of the mug or promotional item. We have Feder wide-format sublimation printers and professional presses for textiles and promotional items.

Important about materials
Sublimation works on white or light-coloured polyester fabrics or items with a special polymer coating. It is not suitable for 100% cotton or dark fabrics. For cotton T-shirts we recommend screen printing or digital printing, and for mugs and promotional items with your logo you can also browse our promotional products catalogue.
Minimum quantity, prices and lead times
Sublimation printing is possible from 1 piece, which makes it suitable both for single gifts and for whole teams and large advertising campaigns. The price depends on the type of item, the print size and the quantity. The standard lead time is 1 to 5 working days after the design is approved.
Sports kits to your design
We make sports kits with a fully custom design – club colours, sponsor logos, player names and numbers. Our designer will prepare a mock-up for you to approve before printing. The kits are light, breathable and keep their colours after many washes and training sessions.

Send us your idea or ready design, the type of items and the quantity through the contact form or to office@kim-print.com. You will receive a quote and a mock-up, and after approval – the finished order at our office in Sofia or by courier anywhere in Bulgaria.
Frequently asked questions
No. Sublimation only works on polyester or specially coated materials. For cotton T-shirts we use screen printing or digital printing.
There is no minimum quantity – with sublimation we also print single pieces, for example a mug or a T-shirt as a gift.
The sublimation print bonds permanently with the mug’s coating. We recommend hand washing to keep it bright for as long as possible.
Yes. Every kit can have a different name and number, because with sublimation each piece is printed individually.
